Lastly, Haddad explained that doctors are still determining when Dillard will be able to return home. However, his mother has been by his side “every day at the hospital.”

The Child’s Mother, Alexis Adams, Has Reportedly Filed A Lawsuit

As The Shade Room previously reported, Dillard’s injuries include “multiple pelvis fractures, left metatarsal fractures, grade three liver laceration, internal bleeding, and collapsed lungs.”

His mother has reportedly filed a lawsuit citing negligence on behalf of the apartment building’s property owners. As well as a construction company and window installation company.

In the lawsuit, Adams reportedly states that the apartment building from which her son fell has “windows that posed a hazardous condition.” More specifically, she alleges that “incorrect-sized guards” on the windows “allowed her son to fall out onto the concrete.”

TSR previously shared a statement from Adams.

“As a single mom to a special needs child, this feels like a nightmare. My heart is broken into a million pieces. I am devastated, angry, and struggling to come to terms with the fact that my only child has suffered severe injuries due to willful negligence of our landlord and others involved in failing to take necessary safety measures.”

Flo Rida is not named a plaintiff in the lawsuit. Additionally, at this time, the rapper’s Relationship with the child remains unclear.

Furthermore, whether the 6-year-old was alone during the incident is still unknown.
